#NaturalLove Release Week: A Peek Into the Mind of Spencer Chadwick

I often get asked about my characters, especially the male characters I write. Since NATURAL LOVE is a story told entirely in the male POV, I thought it fitting that I give you all a glimpse into Spencer Chadwick’s character profile.

He’s one of my favorite male characters.

Portrait of a smart and handsome serious young manName: Spencer Lawrence Chadwick

Age: 24

Hometown: Cincinnati, OH

Education: The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

Appearance: Tall (6’2”), athletic but lean build, brown eyes, dark brown hair with a slight curl, scar on his left knee, full lips, light spray of stubble

Immediate family: father (alive), mother (alive), stepmother (alive),  stepsister (alive)

Likes: women, bourbon, fancy cars, reading, debate, playing tennis, playing squash, running

Dislikes: fake people, social climbers, family secrets

Affiliations: Camargo Country Club,  The Metropolitan Club, The Queen City Club, Omega Tau Epsilon (fictional) fraternity, The Peace Corps

Vices: alcoholism and lying

Other flaws: tends to hold grudges

Additional info: Spencer is an elitist, but he would never admit to it. He claims to be a Democrat, but secretly votes Republican. He’s also fiercely loyal to those he cares about, and will carry their secrets even if they cannot. Spencer often feels he is the smartest person in the room, a characteristic that helps and hurts him. He has slept with 23 women at the start of NATURAL LOVE,  none of whom he cares about. He also believes in true love and has a hidden romantic side.

NATURAL LOVE is slated for release on December 9, 2014. It is available for pre-order on Amazon.
